The Aviva DigiCare+ app is designed to help individuals and their families proactively address and manage health and well-being issues directly through their smartphones.

An annual health assessment empowers users to identify potential health risks and take charge of their well-being. The app also provides prompt access to the clinical knowledge of qualified and seasoned practitioners as needed.

Aviva DigiCare+ extends a selection of complimentary health and well-being benefits from carefully chosen partners, some of which may involve an additional fee. This app is accessible to customers who have acquired an Aviva personal protection policy (excluding Simple Life Insurance) through a financial advisor.

Key features of the Aviva DigiCare+ app include:

• An annual health check covering 20 different health markers related to risk areas such as diabetes, liver function, kidney health, bone health, gout, proteins, and cholesterol levels
• Nutrition support offering guidance on enhancing dietary habits for a healthier lifestyle
• Bupa Anytime Healthline providing round-the-clock, unlimited phone consultations for general health queries
• Mental health assistance including expert consultations tailored to individual needs
• A second medical opinion service to obtain an alternative expert viewpoint on diagnoses and treatment plans
• Bereavement support for practical and emotional assistance during challenging times following the loss of a loved one
• Physiotherapy consultations for expedited recovery after injury (exclusive to Aviva Income Protection+ policyholders)
• A Digital GP service as an optional extra, allowing online consultations with GPs for customers who purchased a personal protection product after December 7, 2020. Note that this service incurs a cost.
